  • <3 <3 <3 Paper Chain Love Hearts <3 <3 <3

This week I would like to share with you how to make these
impressive but oh so simple love heart paper chains!

    Step By Step Directions

    Step By Step Directions

Step 1 – Gather your supplies!
You will need a regular stapler filled full of staples and
some paper cut into 1 inch wide strips.
(we used Cromatico 100g Red which we stock in Daintree Paper
cut along the narrow side of an A4 sheet)

    Step 2 – Get Folding!
Take your 1 inch strips of paper and fold them all in half.
Take one strip and take the two ends and pinch together as shown.
    Staple the two ends together.
TIP: Its best to align the staple with the end of the paper so you get a BIG juicy heart!

    Step 3 – Get Connecting!
Take the next strip of paper which is folded in half and place the center point at the point of the first heart.
Staple in place, again following the line of the edge of the paper.
(if you look carefully at the image you will see the staple in place)

Step 4 – Take a moment to look at your heart! <3
Check your happy with the alignment of the staple and give yourself a pat on the back!

    Step 5 – Get Bending!
Bend carefully the two ends of the last paper strip together and guess what …..STAPLE!

    Step 6 – Repeat!
Repeat Steps 3 and 5 for as long as you want. Simply placing the next strip of paper which is folded in half at the point of the last and staple…..easy peasy..but sushhhhh its a secret!

Step 7 – Don’t stop till you get enough!
You can keep going and going and going and going……..and going till you have a long paper chain. We’ve used ours to form a heart shape itself as a center piece on a table.

    TA DAAAAA!

  • Mini honeycombs

Today i’m going to show you how to make mini Honeycombs, these little delights make great centerpieces or add a string and they look great hanging up. Either way they are so easy to make!

    PicsArt_1375882324899

To start cut approx 16 little circles

Fold each one in half to make semi circles

Now take one of the circles , put glue on one side and layer another semi circle on top.

Continue until all the semi circles are stacked up.

Now you have a choice, if you want to hang them up then you will have to glue ribbon to the top layer.

If not then just fold it around until both sides meet.

    Taaa Daa perfect circle
